Senior HIL Test Engineer; m​/w​/d - ePowertrain

Job / Position Summary Responsibilities

As main activities in our team we perform :

1.Requirement reviews :

• have the requirements in the Requirement management tools DOORS / JIRA / OCTANE.
• document the acceptance of the requirements, the comments on the testability of the requirements : with the unclear requirements we perform review meetings with the requirement responsible (customer).

2. Test Design - we analyze the accepted requirements, and we derive test specifications from them. The test specifications are documented in the Octane tool.

3. Test Automation - we automate the test specifications in the ECU-TEST automation tool.

4. Test Validation - we validate on the HIL or iSB
14 the automated test cases.

5. Bug analysis and reporting :

• we analyze and retest bugs from other levels of testing (car, system, component).
• we create bug tickets for the issues found : bugs tickets for the HIL environment or bug tickets for the Software.

• 5+ years’ experience in SW, HIL testing department.
• Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a similar subject.
• Good understanding of testing concepts, practical experience working with HiL systems (dSpace systems preferred).
• Experience in design and development of Functional Tests.
• Experience in AUTOSAR and Agile Development.
• Good know-how about Automotive Communication Protocols, specifically CAN.
• Automotive Domain preferred, able to understand Simulink models, need not have working experience in Simulink, Programming / scripting experience with Python (C, C++ know-how would be advantage).
• Experience working in a TEAM with go-getter attitude.
• German skills (min C1) is mandatory and good level of English (min. B2).
• Solution-oriented, analytical thinking and good communication skills.
• ISTQB Certification (Basic Level) would be added advantage.
• Tools / Skills knowledge :
  Experience with ECU-Test Knowledge of using hardware systems from ETAS and Vector.
• Hands On with tools like INCA, Trace
  32, E-Sys, Canoe, Canalyzer, CAPLMatlab, Jenkins, Jira, Ediabas.
