MORCHEM is a global leader in adhesive solutions for flexible packaging, technical applications, and textile lamination.
We are currently seeking a Technical Service Manager for Central Europe to join our team. If you are interested in this opportunity and would like to be part of an innovative and dynamic company, we would be pleased to hear from you.
What will be your main responsibilities?Reporting to the Business Development Director
, your main responsibilities will include:
- Act as the primary technical contact for Sales Managers and customers in Central Europe, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Lead and participate in customer trials within Central Europe (internationally when required).
- Coordinate technical trials between Munich Technical Office and Barcelona Application Laboratory.
- Participate actively in customer projects and testing.
- Provide continuous technical support through on-site visits, follow‑up meetings, technical presentations, and trade fairs.
- Train and mentor junior members of the Technical Service and Sales team to build technical capability and consistency across the region.
- Coordinate CEU customers and Key Accounts‑related testing ensuring efficient planning, execution, and reporting of results.
- Be responsible for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of technical reports shared with Central Europe customers and internal teams.
- Ensure all customer reports, technical documentation, and data sheets are accurate, updated, and available in the required languages (including German).
- Be the technical expert for the company, representing the Morchem’ expertise and innovation in every customer interaction.
- Provide regular updates to the Sales Director, Sales Managers Central Europe and the R&D Director on project status, key developments, and market trends.
- Maintain and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders in the area such as film, ink, and substrate suppliers, machinery manufacturers, and external research institutes to foster innovation and collaboration.
- Technical bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related sciences.
- German mother tongue. Fluent in English. Spanish or French is a plus.
- More than 10 years of experience application laboratory on lamination technologies.
- Very organized and focused on the target’s accomplishment.
- Experience in a testing laboratory. Experience of lamination technologies or related industries.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and interact effectively with international teams.
- Availability to travel.
