Application Engineer (Low-Voltage Devices)

A worldwide leader in the global relay industry is looking to add to their European Team. This is a full‑time role with a competitive salary of up to €80k and is Hybrid, so will involve going into the offices located in North‑Germany 2‑3 times a week.

• Coordination with the customer about the technical requirements for the product
• Clarification of technical feasibility based on specifications, drawings and standards
• Presentation of products and selection of suitable relays for the customer
• Transmission of technical requirements to the development department in China
• Accompanying projects from the first customer contact through to series introduction and beyond
• Advising our customers both on the phone and on site
• Participation in the continuous improvement of our products
• Technical processing of complaints
• Collaboration in international project teams

• Experience in the development or application of electromechanical switching devices such as MCB, RCCB, RCBO, MCCB, ACB
• Very good knowledge of electrical engineering/electronics, especially switching devices; reading and understanding electrical circuit diagrams
• Very good knowledge of mechanical assemblies; reading and understanding drawings; basic knowledge of materials technology and production technology
