Principal Automotive Connectivity IP Architect

We are looking for a Principal Automotive Connectivity IP Architect to drive the development of next-generation connectivity IPs for camera, display, and sensor networking in future software-defined vehicles.

• Invent and develop new automotive networking IP concepts.
• Define PHY, Data Link Layer, and protocol architectures.
• Create patentable innovations and reference implementations.
• Evaluate technologies such as asymmetric Ethernet, TDD communication, video-over-Ethernet, hybrid Ser Des/Ethernet, and zonal architectures.
• Support ASIC, FPGA, and virtual prototype development.
• Collaborate with semiconductor partners and contribute to industry standardization activities.

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in communication IP, ASIC, or FPGA development.
• Strong knowledge of PHY and Data Link Layer design.
• Experience with RTL development, FPGA prototyping, ASIC architectures, DSP algorithms, SoC architectures, and on-chip interconnects (AXI, MIPI, PCIe, Ethernet).
• Strong understanding of communication and networking systems.

• Patent contributions and semiconductor IP development.
• Participation in IEEE, ASA, or similar standardization bodies.
• Experience transferring research concepts into production silicon.
