To ensure management of project materials including Mercury, supply chain partners and client supplied Free Issue from receipt up to and including issuance. Conduct and maintain all Tool and plant registers at site and liaise with T&P management for site requirements.

• Attends vendor weekly meetings to track progress on equipment manufacture & inspection prior to delivery. Informs senior management of any potential ROJ impact items.
• Tracks order status of materials with our supply chain, reviews supply chain partners procurement trackers to ensure scheduled delivery dates are achieved.
• Receives, measures, identifies and verifies and visually inspects equipment, tools and materials.
• Performs clerical work (data capture), participates in stock checking, counting, filing, etc.
• Ensures correct procedures for Material receiving at Site are always adhered to.
• Ensures correct storage techniques are used for storing materials including any required preservation.
• Ensures that an efficient delivery service is provided to the project from the warehouse and all documentation is recorded.
• Ensures proper and accurate usage of the company computer system for managing the warehouse.
• Ensures full commitment to the implementation of the procedures.
• Ensures that all external hire of Transport, Plant and Equipment is kept to a minimum and records are kept up to date.
• Ensures stock reconciliation and traceability of materials issued from the warehouse by following the material issue procedure.
• Ensures that minimum stock levels are properly accounted for and utilized where used.
• Ensures excess/unwanted materials returned from site are adequately recorded and accounted for.
• Liaises with relevant person on site regarding any delivery discrepancies and any other matters to be resolved.
• Maintains standards of HSE and complies with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment procedure/policy.
• Follows and maintains Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.
• Follows Material Control Plan for assigned projects.
• Open to identifying opportunities and to provide ideas, methods and innovations to enhance teamwork, efficiency and quality.

• Some Material Control / Supply Chain experience in an Engineering, Procurement and/or Construction environment preferred.
• Experience with Material Control / Supply Chain systems preferred.
• Work toward qualification or coursework in Material Control or Warehouse Management.

• Knowledge of Materials delivered, and terminology is desirable.
• Ability to review available stock to fulfil field requests in the most efficient method.
• Verbal and interpersonal skills are critical for successful interaction with site team to ensure that all requirements are met in a timely manner.
• Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
