About The Role
As a (Senior) Mission Operations Project Manager, you will operate at the sharp end of our mission where advanced robotics meets real‑world application. This is a dynamic, hands‑on role focused on executing short‑term, high‑impact projects in direct collaboration with our military partners. You will be the crucial link ensuring our autonomous systems deliver successfully in complex, mission‑critical environments. This position is for someone who thrives in ambiguity and thinks on their feet.
You will coordinate everything from field deployments to stakeholder communication, acting with agility and precision. Your day‑to‑day will span coordinating field deployments, managing internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that our autonomous ground systems deliver results where it counts. You don’t need a background in UGVs — but you do need a genuine curiosity for the technology and a hands‑on attitude.
You’ll Build
- Spearhead fast‑paced operational projects, from initial planning to successful field deployment.
- Serve as the trusted communication bridge between our internal teams and key military partners.
- Navigate complex project logistics, including timelines, resources, and risk management.
- Unite cross‑functional teams across engineering, logistics, and business to ensure mission success.
- Drive projects that directly support field operations and customer‑facing activities.
- Represent ARX Robotics on the ground, with a willingness to travel for on‑site collaboration (up to 25%).
- Ensure our technology performs reliably and effectively where it matters most.
- Proven experience in project management, ideally in a fast‑moving, operational environment.
- Military background or strong understanding of defense structures, processes, and requirements — essential for effective collaboration with our partners.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with military and government stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% and to be present on‑site — ideally based in or around Munich.
- Hands‑on mindset: you enjoy getting close to the product and learning as you go.
- Experience with UGVs or autonomous systems is a plus, but not required.
- Fluency in English & German is required.
- Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
- Competitive compensation package including a bonus opportunity.
- 27 vacation days to start, increasing with tenure up to 30 days.
- Employer‑supported pension contribution.
- Learning & development support and team events budget.
- Employee discounts and flexible benefits budget via Probonio.
- Hybrid working setup depending on role and team needs.
- Structured salary bands, levelling framework, and bi‑annual development conversations.
- Referral bonus program, dog‑friendly office, and relocation support where applicable.
ARX is an equal‑opportunity employer, and we encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
