A leading international freight forwarder is seeking an experienced Air Freight professional to take ownership of a key operational site in the Munich area.

This is a senior leadership position with full responsibility for operational performance, team development, and commercial growth within a fast‑paced air freight environment.

The role offers genuine autonomy, strong backing from senior management, and the opportunity to directly influence the success and growth of the location.

• Lead and develop a local air freight operations team
• Take ownership of site performance including operational and financial results
• Drive growth across air export services and develop new business opportunities
• Strengthen existing customer relationships and support key accounts
• Improve operational processes and service efficiency
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and performance targets
• Work closely with senior leadership and international teams

• Strong background in Air Freight Export operations
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Commercially focused with a strong customer mindset
• Confident decision‑maker with a hands‑on approach
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
• Fluent in German and English
