Stellenbeschreibung
Stellenbezeichnung: Airport Site Manager (m/f/d) - Permanent contract - flibco

Flibco, part of Flix ecosystem
, is a European tech company specialised in airport shuttle services. Operating across multiple countries, we connect thousands of travellers every day with smart, reliable transport to and from major airports — backed by our own digital platform and proprietary software tools.

With a clear goal of reaching 10 million passengers by 2028
, we are accelerating our expansion in Germany and Munich is one of our key strategic markets. To make this happen, we are looking for a motivated team player in Germany: an autonomous, hands‑on professional who can build and follow up local operations from day one.

The Role

As Airport Site Manager
, you are Flibco’s representative on the ground in Germany. You'll be the local engine behind a successful roll‑out of our high‑frequency shuttle services. This is a concrete, visible, and high‑impact role; you will be building something new with real influence on Flibco’s growth in Germany.

your primary base is Munich. You will occasionally support operations at other German airports (a few planned trips per month).

Key Responsibilities
  • Launch on‑site operations – coordinate the full on‑site setup: installation of ticket vending machines, digital tools, and branding signage. Ensure operational readiness from day one.
  • Manage local partners – be the main point of contact for drivers and bus operators, monitor performance, resolve incidents, and train partners on Flibco’s tools and standards.
  • Grow the local sales network – identify and onboard local resellers (hotels, tourist offices, travel agencies) to increase Flibco’s visibility and passenger volumes in Munich.
  • Represent Flibco with local authorities – build and maintain relationships with airport authorities and local bodies. Ensure regulatory compliance for all on‑site operations.
  • Feed insights back to the central team – share ground‑level insights on the German market, suggest improvements, and collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Ops teams at HQ.
Your Profile Experience & Skills
  • 2 to 5 years of hands‑on operational experience: shop/retail management, site management, logistics coordination, station operations, transport or similar field roles.
  • Proven ability to manage external partners or service providers independently.
  • Background in airport operations, mobility, tourism, or event management is a strong plus.
  • Fluent German and professional English, both are essential.
  • Valid driver’s licence, comfortable with frequent national and international travel.
Who you are
  • Autonomous and reliable: you make field decisions without needing hand‑holding.
  • Solution‑oriented: operational problems mobilise you, they don’t block you.
  • Strong communicator: equally comfortable with an airport director and a bus driver.
  • At ease in a launch context where processes are still being shaped.
Why Join Flibco

Flibco has been operating across Europe for years. You join an established company, not just an idea on paper.

No micromanagement. You own your scope, report on results, and have the freedom to get there your way.

If the Germany launch succeeds, your responsibilities will grow with it.

Work with colleagues based in Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, and across Europe.

Hiring Process
  • Video interview with HR (30 min), mutual discovery.
  • Video interview with your future manager (45–60 min), practical field case.
  • Final conversation with leadership
, strategic context and Germany vision.
  • We commit to giving you feedback within 5 business days after each step.

Ready to take on this challenge and have a good time doing it? Let’s make great things happen together!
