Hours : Full Time

  • Shape the future of veterinary care: Play a key role in supporting the strategic growth and optimisation of the MVHE veterinary network across Central Europe.
  • Lead high-impact projects: Own the end-to-end delivery of new clinic launches, relocations, mergers and closures, turning strategic plans into successful operational outcomes.
  • Work across borders and functions: Partner with Operations, Property, IT, HR, Finance and Clinical leadership across diverse European markets.
  • Build scalable ways of working: Develop and embed consistent PMO frameworks, tools and processes while adapting delivery to local market needs and regulations.
  • Make a visible difference: Bring structure, insight and continuous improvement to a growing veterinary network, helping teams deliver projects safely, efficiently and effectively.
The team

You will join the MVHE PMO team within the broader Global REFM organisation, supporting the strategic and transformational agenda.

Reporting to the Senior PMO Manager, the OU PMO Manager will work closely with the Central Operations team and functional leaders across Mars Veterinary Health Europe (MVHE). You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, coordinating complex, cross-functional projects across multiple countries and markets.

The role provides an opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, from investment appraisal and planning through implementation, operational readiness and post-project review. You will help establish scalable approaches to project delivery while ensuring local market, cultural, legal and veterinary regulatory requirements are appropriately considered.

The role initially operates as an individual contributor, with the potential to develop as the wider PMO team evolves.

What you'll do
  • Lead the delivery of new veterinary clinic openings, relocations, mergers and closures across Central Europe.
  • Own project plans, budgets, timelines, risks and governance from start to finish.
  • Bring Operations, Property, IT, HR, Finance and Clinical teams together to deliver successful projects.
  • Turn global strategy into practical plans that work for local markets and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep senior stakeholders informed through clear reporting, KPIs and recommendations.
  • Identify smarter, more consistent ways of delivering projects and embed lessons learned across the PMO.
  • Support investment decisions, financial modelling and cost-effective project delivery.
What we're looking for
  • Proven project or programme management experience: At least 5 years' experience in project/programme management, including significant experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Relevant industry experience: At least 3 years' experience in healthcare, veterinary operations or another regulated, operationally complex environment.(Preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder leadership: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align people across functions, seniority levels and countries.
  • Strong delivery discipline: Experience managing project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies and governance across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • International mindset: Ability to understand and balance global strategy with local market requirements, including relevant legal and regulatory considerations.
  • Language Skills : German and English fluency is mandatory. Polish language skills are desirable

You’ll also bring a strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to delivery. Experience working with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet or equivalent is important. A PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management qualification would be…
