Intellias, a leading automotive software provider, is looking for a Senior Android Platform Developer to join an Android Automotive IVI project for a major OEM. The role focuses on developing connectivity components
, including HAL and Android service layers
, for top‑tier automotive brands.

• Strong Kotlin & Java skills with solid Android architecture knowledge
• Expertise in HAL, Android services
  , architecture, design patterns, and API design
• Experience with Jetpack (including Compose)
• Multithreading & concurrency (Coroutines / RxJava), including race conditions and deadlocks
• Android Studio, Gradle, unit testing, debugging tools
• Strong analytical, optimization, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience across the full SDLC and Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Independent, proactive, and detail‑oriented
• Willingness to work from the Munich office

• C++ (memory management, STL, algorithms)
• CMake/Make, Python, Bash

• Design and develop Android Automotive features with focus on quality, modularity, and reusability
• Improve existing libraries and tools
• Participate in requirements analysis, architecture, and detailed design
• Provide estimates and trade-offs
• Contribute to architectural planning and refactoring
• Perform code reviews, report progress and risks
• Support interviews and mentor team members
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams
