Qualcomm ADAS/Autonomy team is engaged in offering optimized solutions built on DSP, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms for the Qualcomm ADAS/Autonomy SoCs.

We are seeking engineers who can lead SoC BSP software level functional safety architecture. The role requires understanding and defining the Safety Concept and Architecture of SoC BSP software, establishing safety software requirements, deploying safety processes, and developing safety software following ISO
26262 software processes.

The position involves interaction with customers, architects, and test/integration teams. It also includes collaboration with safety managers and，却 software quality teams to ensure adherence to ISO
26262 and ASPICE processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of software engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of software engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 10-15 years of industry experience in embedded software, especially in the automotive domain.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in ISO
  26262 (Part Flores 6 in particular).
• Experience in functional safety software architecture in automotive domain, including safety software architecture specification, safety requirements definition, and safety software development.
• Experience in defining software architecture, software design, and implementation of embedded software for automotive SoCs.
• Background in both software architecture and safety architecture, with design and implementation experience.
• Good understanding of SoC architecture, ARM architecture, SoC peripherals, low‑level BSP software/drivers, and RTOS.
• Excellent understanding of operating systems such as Linux, QNX, and RTOS.
• Excellent understanding of functional safety software process, especially ISO
  26262 part‑6.
• Experience in safety analysis (FMEA, DFA, FTA).
• Experience leading safety architecture activities for complex SoC software.
• Experience leading safety architecture activities for ADAS/AD software.
• Programming languages: C/C++.
• Experience with complete SDLC and related processes.
• Experience with milioane static analysis tools and code coverage tools.
• Knowledge and experience of ASPICE/ISO
  26262 or equivalent quality standards.
• Knowledge of tools and methods related to functional safety/ISO
  26262: requirements management, static/dynamic analysis, safety analysis, safety software design, implementation, and testing.
• Knowledge and passion for software design and programming.
• Experience მილ leading stakeholder engagements within the development organization, partners, and customers (highly desirable).
• Experience.
  
  TV functional safety management in automotive domain: safety software architecture specification, safety requirements definition, safety software development, safety plan, safety execution, and leadership.
• Knowledge of software stack for ADAS/AD/Vision features.
• Experience/exposure to SOTIF is good to have.

• Knowledge of software architecture and design tools and languages (UML/SysML).
• Knowledge and experience of ASPICE or equivalent quality standards.
• Functional safety related trainings/c 길자 certifications.
• Experience supporting customers/OEMs in functional safety and system safety concepts.
• Experience in functional safety audits.
