We've established a Backend Community of Practice to foster technical knowledge sharing and promote best practices. Your role will be crucial in influencing the platform’s direction, with the potential to impact customers, stakeholders, and your fellow team members.

You will be a key player in the development of our microservices‑based architecture, building connections withორციელ clients and integrations using REST APIs and Kafka events.

Your skills:

• Solid understanding of software design principles and a commitment to best practices (clean code)
• Experience with agile software development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban)
• Proficiency in English
• At least 3 years of experience in Java Web Development
• Open‑mindedness and a passion for teamwork within a compact, focused team
• Experience or strong interest in modern, state‑of‑the‑art technologies

We’re looking for candidates who have experience with:

• Java 8+ (we use 17, but knowledge of 8 would be sufficient)
• Spring Boot
• Various forms ondernemer testing (unit testing, e2e testing, component testing)
• Databases and messaging systems like MySQL, Redis and Kafka
• REST APIs
• Gradle
• Experirence in Git Hub & Git Hub Actions (CI/CD pipelines, evals/tests as quality gates, deployment workflows)
