This role focuses on building and prototyping advanced machine learning use cases that leverage edge device models to enhance intelligent in-car experiences. The successful candidate will translate complex model capabilities into meaningful product features that define the future of vehicle interaction.

• Integrate machine learning models that run on edge devices within the infotainment domain
• Prototype and build generative AI experiences to launch as refined customer features
• Collaborate with engineering teams to manage latency, memory, and performance budgets
• Develop evaluation tools to measure real-world interaction quality and failure modes
• Partner with UX teams to refine design flows, fallbacks, and safe error handling

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in application engineering for large-scale customer bases
• Strong background integrating generative AI and machine learning models into applications
• Proficiency in Python and Java or Kotlin
• Experience debugging complex AI failures and working with constrained edge-device models
