Position:
Embedded Python Tester

Contract: Up to 24 months

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Security Clearance: Some clearance will be required

Nationality: EU / NATO nationality required

Salary: €60,000 – €90,000+ gross per year depending on experience and expertise

About the Role:

Join a leading technology team developing software for embedded devices. You will design and execute Python-based tests, maintain test infrastructure, and collaborate closely with agile development teams to ensure software quality in embedded systems.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement software tests in Python for embedded devices and integrate them into CI pipelines
• Develop and maintain testing frameworks and infrastructure
• Create and maintain documentation on software quality
• Coordinate with development teams (software, firmware, hardware)
• Integrate software modules into devices and perform functional and software tests
• Support device integration into overall systems

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Technical Informatics (Bachelor/Master/Diploma)
• Strong skills in software development (testing and integration), software quality assurance, and Python
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols, Git, object-oriented programming, C/C++, embedded Linux, and digital circuit technology
• Desirable: C#, systemd/dbus, safety/security experience, ISTQB certification
• Not suitable for career starters
• Language:
  Negotiation-level German and advanced English
