Be the Leader of the Software Development Team at Onyx!

We are looking for a Head of IT and Software Development who is motivated to join our mission to build algorithms that have an impact for the world!

Your tasks include:

• Building strategic concepts for Technology and software development, incl. hands-on implementation
• Planning and priorization of technical requirements
• Leading the Software Development department:
  • Organization and further development of software development team
  • Responsibility for architecture, code quality, and deployments
  • Securing high-quality product releases to customers
• Controlling IT – and data security
• Leadership and employee development

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• At least 3 years experience in industrial software development
• Experience in C++, Rust, Python and Type Script
• Advanced understanding of Frontend and Backend Development and Container-Technology (Docker)
• Strong analytical and conceptual mindset with a high degree of customer focus
• Motivated to work in an impactful and dynamic startup to deliver our cutting-edge innovations to our customers
• Motivated to take a leadership role and expanding our software development team
