Forward-Deployed AI Engineer - Claude Code Munich - Hybrid

We’re supporting the digital payments division of a major global Fin Tech to hire a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer in Munich.

The business operates across 64 countries, connecting some of the world’s largest brands, retailers and consumers through a huge international payments ecosystem.

They are now investing heavily in practical AI adoption across the organisation - and this role sits at the heart of it.

You’ll embed directly into a business function and learn how it operates.

Then you build.

Using Claude Code, AI and automation, you’ll create tools and workflows that remove manual work and make entire departments more effective.

• Build practical AI tools and automations using Claude Code
• Work with data, spreadsheets and existing business systems
• Deliver quick wins rather than waiting months for large transformation projects
• Help people adopt AI without disrupting how the business operates
• Work alongside IT on data access, security and integration

• Exceptional knowledge of Claude Code and AI tooling
• Evidence that you’ve actually built useful tools, automations or products
• Strong interest in data and technology
• A bias towards action
  - you see problems and build solutions

You need to be someone who understands what modern AI can do and knows how to turn that into real, measurable business impact.
