Backend Developer; Java​/Boot, AWS Internal; m​/f​/d Munich | Hybrid

You want to help us modernize and create the services our colleagues rely on and you like to see immediate impact across Netlight’s operations?

Join our international Tech organization and help build the internal products thousands of colleagues work with every day. In a small, agile team of 5 developers, you will:

Design, build, and maintain the internal services that underpins Netlight’s operations

Develop and evolve business‑critical services, microservices, and REST APIs

Create integrations and automations that streamline and digitalize internal processes

Ship on AWS using Infrastructure as Code for scalable, modern delivery

Java, Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, AWS, IaC (e.g., Terraform/AWS CDK), monitoring/logging (Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry), automated testing (e.g., JUnit/Mockito)

• IT degree and 2+ years in agile backend roles with Java and Spring Boot
• Solid experience with REST APIs, microservices, and Git
• Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Comfortable owning solutions end‑to‑end; collaborative and service‑minded
• Fluent English; based in Munich

IaC (Terraform/AWS CDK), Dev Ops and infrastructure automation, frontend (React/Angular), Python/Kotlin, experience with AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot)
