The HIDALGO is looking for EMPLOYEES in EVENT TECHNOLOGY (M/F/D) We are now looking for employees in event technology (m/f/d) for the HIDALGO Festival 2023, as well as for guest performances, co-productions and projects outside the festival period. The time required varies depending on the size and complexity of the project and your availability.

Who we are:

HIDALGO is Munich’s most exciting classical music start‑up. In a young, extremely motivated team combine paradoxical worlds to create intense, exhilarating experiences. To this end, we produce innovative concert formats with passion and the highest standards.

Since 2018 we have been organizing the annual HIDALGO Festival for young classical music
. We create video installations, commission sound designers and confront romantic poetry with modern poetry. Whatever fits together to form something bigger is allowed.

• Basic knowledge of event technology (you don’t have to have completed training! The most important thing for us is a basic technical understanding)
• Enjoy putting together musical‑theatrical stage productions in a creative team

These are your areas of responsibility:

In regular exchange with the project management and the Technical Director, you will be responsible for the following tasks.

• Create Technical Rider
• Create schedule for technical requirements
• Check technical feasibility within the artistic concept
• Acquire technical equipment in coordination with the Technical and Logistics Directorate
• Act as contact person for the technical staff at the venue
• Planning, monitoring and controlling of the project‑related technical budget
• Technical support for the respective event during rehearsals and performances
• Planning of assembly and dismantling in consultation with logistics and technical management
