- Your task is to independently conduct strategic negotiations with key partners on both sides of the business: content on the platform (pay TV, free TV, apps) and content from the platform (e.g. WOW via telcos)
- Above all, your daily business will include developing holistic, solution-oriented deal strategies with a focus on reach, revenue growth and product positioning
- You'll act as the primary contact person for relevant partners and be responsible for cross-departmental coordination with Legal, Product, Finance, Marketing and Editorial
- You'll be responsible for managing complex projects in the partner environment as a workstream lead or senior stakeholder - from initial conception to go-live
- You'll make your contribution by identifying market trends and white spaces at an early stage and then translating these into concrete partner strategies and recommendations for action
- You'll oversee the creation of strategic decision templates and represent Sky to partners and internally at executive level - this particularly includes negotiations at C-level
- You'll provide support in coaching and developing team members in line with an agile, performance-oriented setup
- In your role, you'll drive the further development of an integrated deal logic across the entire Commercial Partnerships division
- You've a university degree in economics, media or a related field - ideally with further qualifications (MBA or similar) and several years of professional experience in the media, technology or telecommunications industry, including experience in strategic, commercial positions
- Through your professional experience, you have developed deep expertise in negotiating and managing complex partnerships at C-level, including multi-stakeholder management across Legal, Finance, Product, Tech, and Marketing
- You also have a proven track record in establishing and developing commercial partnership models, both in distribution and content deals
- Above all, you're distinguished by your in-depth understanding of market mechanisms, monetisation strategies and regulatory frameworks in the DACH media market, as well as your strong analytical and strategic skills
- You'll bring excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills for developing and presenting business cases, forecasts and executive briefings
- You can demonstrate your ability to work independently, manage complex projects and at the same time act as an operational sparring partner in day-to-day business through practical experience
- You've strong communication skills with the ability to inspire teams and implement decisions in a dynamic, politically complex environment
- Very good written and spoken English and German skills round off your profile
