For our German business analytics team we are currently hiring a (Senior) Manager Business Analytics. The position is office based in Martinsried, Munich and will report to the Director Business Analytics & Insights. The Business Analytics team is part of the Commercial Operations function.

• Designs and runs primary and secondary market research projects with decisive and actionable results.
• Aligns cross functionally to address key business questions in primary and secondary research.
• Synthesizes insights across different datasets for a holistic view of the business thus being able to provide actionable recommendations to the commercial stakeholders.
• Acts as a strategic advisor to the commercial stakeholders by staying abreast of all relevant developments and connecting those with market research and other data sets.
• Creates regular strategic forecasts on overall TA market and products and supports definition of consistent and compelling stories.
• Supports definition of relevant KPIs and dashboard reports, establishes robust data sources and oversees analytics for senior management.
• Presents recommendations and findings to various stakeholders within the Commercial organization.
• Interacts with internal stakeholders ranging from executives to Commercial management to field sales team.
• Applies strategic thinking and communicates highly complex analytical processes in a clear and concise manner.
• Facilitates ongoing exchange with SFE reflecting commercial strategy and market insights affecting incentive plan, resource optimization or segmentation/targeting.

• Degree in business administration, economics, natural sciences or related fields.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Prior experience in sales/marketing analysis, statistical analysis, and forecasting.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant software systems (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to assume full responsibility for accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of deliverables completed through own efforts.
• Must be able to effectively communicate analytical information to non-technical members of senior management.
• In-depth knowledge of global Sales and Marketing organizations and pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Insight Health etc.) is desired.
