This role sits within our Tik Tok Germany Global Business Solutions team, which is responsible for hitting revenue goals, building relationships with key enterprise accounts and helping clients drive business results on Tik Tok through product consultation, business development and support.
The Client Solutions Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of individual contributors (account managers) to ensure flawless campaign execution and deliver and upsell against revenue goals. The role will also build and manage strategic client relationships to grow our partnership with Finance, Government & NGO clients in the DACH region. This role will collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, including other sales leaders, product, measurement, creative and solutions engineering to advocate for client needs in order to influence product development and contribute to building a world class team and culture.
The ideal candidate is someone who can operate autonomously, is customer obsessed and able to influence clients and coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Success in this position requires strong management skills, a keen focus on client service, strong problem solving and analytical skills, the ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment and the ability to support the development of our custom solutions for advertisers.
- 1. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of account managers (CSMs), fostering a high-performance culture.
- Co-Lead the Finance, Gov & NGO vertical together with your Brand Partnerships Lead counterpart
- Develop team capabilities in consultative, data-driven campaign strategy, performance analysis, and scaling best practices.
- Provide ongoing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to support career growth.
- Build scalable processes to enable the team to operate efficiently in a fast-growing environment.
- 2. Product Expertise & Client Consultation
- Develop deep expertise in Tik Tok’s business solutions, ad products, auction-based tools and clearly articulate their value to clients within the Finance, NGO & Government vertical.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Tik Tok’s features, ad products, measurement capabilities and attribution models.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors' features, ad products, measurement capabilities and attribution models.
- Consult with clients on product capabilities, best practices and strategies that drive performance.
- Leverage data to identify consumer trends and develop actionable best practices, playbooks and case studies for client success.
- 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, engineering, measurement marketing science and creative operations teams to troubleshoot wider client issues, improve advertising offerings and support product innovation.
- Share insights with internal teams to help shape advertising strategy, offering and product roadmaps.
- Support the team to conduct business reviews, strengthen client relationships and ensure successful campaign execution.
- 4. Strategic Impact & Innovation
- Serve as a thought partner to leadership, identifying strategic priorities, growth opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Influence product and strategic company decision-making with data-driven insights and industry expertise.
- Proactively develop and deliver resources such as best practice guides, product implementation playbooks and vertical-specific strategies.
- 5. Ownership & Initiative
- Take initiative and operate with a high degree of autonomy in managing priorities and driving results.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in digital marketing, managing brand and/or performance advertisers across the full marketing funnel.
- Strong track record in performance advertising, with an understanding of scaling challenges and advertiser objectives across several media platforms.
