Description

AWS is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Manager to join their Global Sales Strategy & Operations team. This role combines hands‑on analytics with operational excellence, where you’ll use data analysis and modeling to support Sales Leaders and their teams. You’ll play a key role in maintaining business health and driving data‑informed decisions.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis & Insights:
    Conduct comprehensive analysis of diverse datasets to uncover meaningful business insights.
  • Design and deliver both regular and on‑demand business analytics to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Strategic Planning & Reporting:
    Maintain monthly health of the business models; create and manage various financial modeling projects.
  • Extract and analyze data using Excel and other data management platforms.
  • Metrics & Performance Management:
    Monitor and evaluate existing performance metrics, identify opportunities for new metrics development, and transform complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Business Intelligence:
    Deliver strategic insights to guide business decisions, provide data‑driven recommendations through detailed analysis, and create customized reports to address specific business needs.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
