The Sustainability Specialist, GHG Reporting & ESG Platform, is responsible for supporting NTT DATA’s sustainability reporting and data management activities, with a primary focus on greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, ESG data governance, and administration of the corporate sustainability reporting platform. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and auditability of sustainability data used for external disclosures, regulatory reporting, customer reporting requirements, and internal management reporting.
The role will also act as a key administrator and subject matter expert for the ESG platform, supporting users globally and driving continuous improvement through standardization and automation.
Key Responsibilities- Support administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the corporate ESG reporting platform.
- Manage user access, permissions, workflows, and reporting structures.
- Maintain organizational hierarchies, facility information, emissions factors, and sustainability metrics.
- Coordinate global sustainability data collection across business units and regions.
- Validate, reconcile, and analyse sustainability data submissions.
- Support Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions reporting and calculations.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and performance analyses for stakeholders.
- Support external assurance activities, auditor requests, and evidence collection.
- Contribute to CDP and CSRD disclosures.
- Develop training materials and provide support to platform users.
- Drive process improvement, standardization, automation, and data governance initiatives.
- Strong understanding of GHG Protocol and carbon accounting principles.
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks.
- Experience working with ESG, environmental, or sustainability data.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with data quality controls, assurance and audit processes.
- Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- 3-5 years of experience in sustainability reporting, ESG reporting, environmental reporting, or GHG accounting.
- Experience working with ESG platforms or enterprise reporting systems.
- Experience supporting sustainability disclosures and external assurance activities.
- Experience in a multinational or matrix organization preferred.
- Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics or related discipline.
- Relevant sustainability or carbon accounting certifications desirable.
- Experience with platforms is advantageous.
