We are seeking outstanding talents with backgrounds from world-leading international strategic consulting firms. As an in-house core strategic advisor, you will leverage mature consulting methodologies and commercial insights to conduct research on the medium and long-term development strategies of the institute. Through professional analysis, research and planning, you will deliver forward-looking strategic recommendations and implementable execution plans to the institute’s senior management, ensuring our research directions and commercial pathways remain at the forefront.

• Strategic Planning and Consulting Analysis:
  Adopt standard analytical tools and frameworks from top consulting firms to systematically conduct research on technology, markets and policies. Conduct in-depth investigations into the world’s cutting-edge technological trends, innovation ecosystems and potential partners, produce insightful industry reports, competitive analyses and strategic proposals, and provide professional development suggestions and decision-making grounds for management.
• Strategic Decision Support:
  Establish and maintain a professional strategic decision support system, conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments on major technology investments, cooperation opportunities and market entry strategies. Act as a consulting advisor to independently or lead a team to complete special research projects, and clearly elaborate options, risks and recommended solutions to management.
• Innovation Ecosystem and Strategic Cooperation:
  Identify and evaluate potential global partners (universities, research institutions, technology enterprises) based on strategic analysis. Utilize professional business analysis and negotiation skills to drive and support the design and implementation of major strategic cooperation projects.

We are looking for candidates with the following backgrounds and potentials:

• Educational Background:
  Doctoral degree, majoring in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or other related disciplines.
• Work Experience:
  
  ① Minimum 3 to 5 years of strategic consulting experience at top international management consulting firms; candidates with project experience serving clients in the energy, chemical or life science industries are preferred. ② Full-cycle experience covering strategic analysis to project promotion and implementation, with successful cases in strategic planning or commercial due diligence.
• Professional Knowledge and
  
  Skills:
  
  ① Master core methodologies, tools and models for strategic consulting, with outstanding problem-solving capabilities, structured thinking and data analysis skills. ② In-depth understanding of technologies and development trends in advanced materials or synthetic biology sectors. ③ Familiar with technology transfer, intellectual property management and commercialization procedures. ④ Excellent capabilities in financial analysis, investment evaluation and market analysis; candidates holding CFA charter are preferred.
• Language Proficiency:
  Fluent English (C1 and above); candidates with proficient German or excellent Chinese communication skills are preferred.
