Founded in 2012, Starburst Aerospace is an innovation catalyst in the global Aerospace and Defence (A&D) industry. Combining three complementary activities—accelerators, strategy consulting, & ventures—they help stakeholders innovate, navigate and invest in the dynamic ecosystem. With offices in Los Angeles, Paris, Munich, Singapore, Seoul, Tel Aviv, Madrid, and Washington, D.C., Starburst has built a robust community with 60+ corporate and government partners and a portfolio of 150+ startups while identifying all sources of innovation that will impact the aerospace value chain.

In close collaboration with the global team, you will work with a high degree of autonomy and engage in a diverse range of strategic initiatives — from advisory projects for both corporates and startups to open innovation and acceleration programs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Startup sourcing and qualification: identification of emerging technologies and bold, high-potential solutions to join the Starburst ecosystem
• Strategic analyses & market studies: sector trends, competitive landscape, market sizing, market entry strategies, and diversification opportunities
• Business model & innovation: assessment of innovation portfolios, definition of new business models, and analysis of product–market fit and value propositions for innovative solution
• Startup support: assistance in refining business plans, preparing for fundraising, and facilitating connections with potential clients, partners, and investors
• Open innovation projects: technology scouting, ad hoc studies, organization of selection committees, private pitch sessions, and other international events
