Overview
This is a field-based role requiring regular engagement with clinical research sites and external partners. Through your leadership as a Site Engagement Leader, you will be accountable for developing, managing and overseeing long-term, strategic relationships with clinical research sites and institutions. You will act as a key interface between GSK and external partners, enhancing our reputation and helping to create an optimal clinical trials environment to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.
Responsibilities- Develop, manage and oversee long-term, strategic relationships with clinical research sites and institutions.
- Act as key interface between GSK and external partners, enhancing reputation.
- Contribute to development of the Partnership Engagement and Excellence in Research ("PEER Site Network") by acting as the main point of contact between GSK and external sites.
- Lead development and expansion of strategic site relationships across academic, community and emerging site models.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with investigators, research coordinators and site leadership.
- Provide regular feedback to internal stakeholders on partnership performance and opportunities.
- Drive performance across sites by setting KPI targets, conducting regular performance reviews, tracking action plans, and delivering on-site operational support.
- Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks and quality or compliance issues at study and site level; work cross-functionally to develop and implement mitigation and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Medical and Feasibility teams to optimise site selection, activation and study delivery, support adoption of digital solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement and innovative ways of working.
- Degree in a scientific or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Multiple years of experience in clinical research operations and study delivery.
- German (minimum C1 level) and English language proficiency.
- Proficient knowledge of the drug development process and clinical study lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strategic site relationships.
- Experience establishing and growing partnerships with research sites or institutions.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements.
- Knowledge or interest in digital and innovative clinical trial solutions.
- Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions in a complex environment.
Germany: EUR 85,500 to EUR 142,500 per annum (gross). The role may offer an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in a share‑based long‑term incentive program. Detailed compensation information will be provided during the recruitment process.
