Senior Cost Accountant

A successful and well known brand name in the manufacture of packaging and adhesive dispensing solutions. This manufacturing site numbers 300+ staff and is the lagest within this global business unit. Reporting to the Global Finance Director the function is responsible for the proper planning, organisation and control of the product costing function. The position supports plant controlling for Production, Logistics, Purchasing, as well as Engineering and Development. A very project based role, the job holder will be responsible for designing and implementing a standard costing solution. It will also partner closely with Operations as well as new product development.

Amongst other responsibilities will be performing daily costing activities, as well as the annual costing run, including analysis of product costs and cost variances.

• Accounting/Cost Accounting or Finance qualification
• 3-5 years experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of USGAAP and HGB
• Previous experience within an international environment
• Excellent IT skills – Microsoft D365 – Power BI.....
• German mother tongue, with good written and spoken English
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent communication skills
