Junior Consultant, Data Analytics

Overview

• Focus:
  Oracle Business Analytics and Enterprise Performance Management
• Data are the lifeblood of every company, and data growth and diversity are immense. The objective is clear: to unlock valuable business insights from this treasure trove of data.
• KPIs measure the performance of the company, individual products, or production assets, create a picture of customers and business partners, and—through predictive analytics and AI/ML—promise the decisive view into the future.
• As a Data Analytics Consultant you operate within this field. Based on the customer’s knowledge needs, you design appropriate analytical data models, ensure efficient data storage, and provide suitable querying and analysis capabilities.

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Management, or Industrial Engineering with an IT focus
• Required knowledge and, ideally, practical experience in the following areas:
  • Architecture and usage of data management systems
  • Conceptual modeling of data, business processes, and business rules
  • Logical and physical database design
  • Data modeling for Data Warehousing and OLAP:
    Star Schema, Snowflake Schema
  • Monitoring and online analysis: design and development of reports, dashboards, and reporting systems for web and mobile devices
• Valuable additional qualifications:
  • Modern data visualization methods and technologies
  • Modeling agile Data Warehouses:
    Data Vault
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud
• Experience with Business Intelligence databases and applications, optionally in the following technologies:
  • Object-relational, In-Memory
  • Multidimensional, Essbase
  • Big Data (No
    
    SQL, Hadoop + Spark frameworks)
• Responsible use of digital technologies and AI with the goal of creating sustainable, human-centered user experiences
• Communication skills, abstraction and structuring ability, attention to documentation, and good German and English language skills
• Mobility for project work domestically and internationally
