Senior Security Analyst

About the Role

For an international organisation operating within a high-security environment, we are currently looking for a Senior LSOC Analyst. In this role, you will work closely with multinational teams to ensure the secure, reliable and uninterrupted operation of critical IT, communication and operational technology environments.

The position focuses on identifying, analysing and mitigating cyber threats and vulnerabilities from a technical perspective. You will contribute to the development and optimisation of technical use cases, threat detection capabilities and incident response processes within a complex operational infrastructure.

As part of a Security Operations Centre environment, you will perform real-time monitoring, threat intelligence analysis and vulnerability assessments while supporting escalation procedures and mitigation activities. In addition, you will contribute to the improvement of cybersecurity processes, technical standards and operational security frameworks.

The role is fully onsite within an international operational environment in Germany. Strong English communication skills are required. Knowledge of German and/or Dutch is considered highly beneficial.

• You have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities within cybersecurity environments
• You are comfortable working in multinational and multidisciplinary teams
• You are able to manage complex incidents and security escalations in high-security environments
• You work in a structured and proactive manner
• You can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• You are capable of independently assessing threats and prioritising mitigation activities
• You are willing to work fully onsite within an operational environment in Germany

• Proven experience in Cyber Incident Management
• Proven experience working within a Security Operations Centre (SOC)
• Experience with SIEM technologies such as Splunk, Elastic or Log Point
• Experience with Threat Intelligence and Security Analytics
• Experience with incident handling processes in high-security or critical infrastructure environments
• Experience working within international environments
• Professional proficiency in English

• Knowledge of communication and information networks
• Certifications related to IT service management or information security
• Experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence tooling such as MISP
• Experience with Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)
• Knowledge of network security and Cisco technologies
• German language skills
• Experience with in defence, government or other highly secure operational environments
