Junior Consultant Process Management (m/w/d)

As the primary digitalisation partner of the Bundeswehr, we deliver stable, secure and efficient IT services both domestically and abroad. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. This role supports our Digital Process Development (DPD) unit within the Center of Excellence, focusing on the design, development and harmonisation of interoperable IT‑management frameworks within the Bundeswehr and BWI IT systems.
Responsibilities- Conceptualise, develop and communicate processes and process chains.
- Independently tackle challenging tasks to support leadership within process management.
- Derive requirements and support the development of IT‑support tools for process management.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in project management to meet procedural requirements within BWI.
- Ensure knowledge creation and transfer within the department and across BWI and the Bundeswehr.
- Completed study in organizational or business administration, a STEM field, or equivalent with at least two years relevant professional experience.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in process‑management methodologies, process modelling and ITIL V3 or ITIL 4 service management.
- Familiarity with digitalisation and modelling tools for business processes, preferably SPARX EA or ARIS.
- Experience with business architectures is desirable.
- Strong conceptual skills combined with cross‑domain, strategic thinking and a structured, independent, goal‑oriented work style.
- First experience working in cross‑functional teams, confident presence and communication strength, strong customer and quality orientation.
- Willingness to travel nationwide (≈10 %) and fluent German and good English skills.
- Work on innovative digitalisation projects and collaborate closely with manufacturers.
