As our Java Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of payment innovation, designing and building scalable microservices that power real-world commerce. WHAT YOU'LL DOShape the Future of Payments
• Design and develop secure, robust payment gateway integrations with leading providers
• Build innovative payment solutions for specialized industries (petrol stations, retail, and beyond)
• Create scalable RESTful APIs that handle high-volume transaction processing

Drive Technical Excellence
• Architect and maintain microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and modern cloud technologies
• Implement event-driven architectures with RabbitMQ for real-time payment processing
• Deploy and orchestrate services on Kubernetes for maximum reliability and scale
• Leverage Protobuf for efficient inter-service communication
• Build data pipelines and analytics infrastructure to unlock business insights

Collaborate Across Teams
• Work directly with product and business teams to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
• Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing (JUnit, Mockito) and Dev Ops best practices WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORMust-Have

Experience:

✓ Strong backend development skills with Java and Spring Boot✓ Solid understanding of database design and RESTful API architecture✓ Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications✓

Experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ or similar)✓ Proficiency with Protobuf for microservices communication✓ Testing mindset with JUnit and Mockito✓ Experience building analytics, reports, or working with Data Lakes✓ Agile development and Dev Ops practices✓ Fluent English communication skills✓ EU residency and B2B work eligibility

Nice-to-Have:
