Our growing Life Sciences division develops specialised cleaning and hygiene solutions for demanding production environments, including the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.

To support this growth, we are looking for a motivated Project Manager R&D Life Sciences with a strong interest in chemistry and Life Sciences. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise and grow with our business.

As Project Manager R&D – Life Sciences, you will manage and coordinate the development of innovative cleaning solutions for industrial production environments. You will combine scientific research, project management and practical applications at customer sites.

Your responsibilities include:

• Develop and optimise cleaning formulations for Life Sciences and Cosmetics production environments, and evaluate their performance through laboratory testing.
• Coordinate product trials at customer sites, analyse the results and translate your findings into practical cleaning solutions and new R&D projects.
• Contribute to the market introduction of biocidal products, ensuring that customer needs and practical applications remain central.
• Work closely with Regulatory Affairs to ensure regulatory compliance and assess product efficacy and risk assessments.
• Train and support local sales teams, helping them understand the practical applications and performance of our products.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including industry associations and public authorities.
• Be part of the Christeyns R&D team in Ador/Ghent, contributing to the development of innovative cleaning solutions.

• A Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related scientific field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in R&D, project management, formulation development or industrial cleaning.
• Knowledge of cleaning processes and hygiene requirements in pharmaceutical, cosmetics or other Life Sciences production environments.
• Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills.
• A hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
