Your roleAs a Tax Reporting Specialist, you will play an active role in supporting the Group Tax function in managing tax compliance, tax accounting and reporting matters across our group structure. You will work closely with the Group Tax Team, Group Accounting, Portfolio Companies and external advisors, gaining early exposure to national and international tax topics. This role is designed for an early‑career professional seeking hands‑on experience in tax accounting, tax reporting processes supported by tax technology within a dynamic holding environment.
Keyresponsibilities
- Contribute to the global tax compliance processes for German and foreign group entities in close cooperation with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Assist in year‑end closing processes, focusing on tax accounting while acting as a linking pin between the Group Accounting and Group Tax Teams.
- Support the global tax compliance process, including corporate income tax, trade tax and withholding tax topics.
- Assist in the coordination and review of Country‑by‑Country Reporting and Pillar 2 calculations using tax reporting software.
- Support tax‑related projects, focusing on tax accounting, tax compliance and documentation in a German and international tax context.
- Assist in the management and preparation of tax audits.
- Support communication between Portfolio Companies, external tax advisors and the Group Tax Team.
- Assist in training and supporting financial controllers on tax accounting and reporting topics.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Group’s tax technology landscape and roadmap (e.g., Lucanet TCR, DATEV).
- Support German inheritance and gift tax matters in cooperation with the Family Office.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- First professional experience (up to approx. 2–3 years) in tax compliance, tax advisory or an in‑house tax function is an advantage.
- Solid basic understanding of corporate taxation; knowledge of holding or group structures is a plus.
- Strong interest in tax accounting, compliance processes and tax technology.
- Structured, analytical and detail‑oriented working style.
- Collaborative, reliable and motivated team player.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Initial experience with tax reporting software (e.g., DATEV, Lucanet) is a plus.
- Fluent in English; good working knowledge of German is required.
- Full‑time role (38.5 hrs per week), indefinite contract.
