Product Designer (fixed-term contract, 18 months parental leave cover)

In our Real Estate vertical you will shape intuitive, trustworthy, and engaging experiences for buyers, sellers, renters, and agents. You’ll work across the entire product development cycle from early discovery and research through to design delivery and iteration alongside product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and data analysts. As part of the broader Product Design team, you’ll regularly exchange ideas, participate in design reviews, and contribute to a strong collaborative design culture.

• Partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers across all stages of the product lifecycle — from ideation and concepting through prototyping, testing, and delivery.
• Balance user- and business needs, championing user‑centered design principles and ensuring accessibility and inclusivity across all touchpoints.
• Design clear, scalable patterns, components, and solutions that enhance both customer‑facing experiences.
• Facilitate ideation sessions, conduct user interviews, and synthesize research insights into actionable design opportunities.
• Ensure a secure, transparent, and trustworthy experience as users navigate property discovery, transactions, and communication on our platform.
• Continuously test, measure, and iterate on designs to improve usability, efficiency, and delight.

• Experience as a UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role in an agile environment, ideally with experience in B2C platforms.
• A keen sense for visually appealing and functional design; prior experience working within a design system, and preferably having helped build one.
• Strong concept and interaction design skills; strongest in breaking complex systems into easy‑to‑use interfaces.
• Active participation in usability tests and deriving concrete steps from them.
• Enthusiasm for user‑centred design and sharing the overall product design vision with the team.
• Comfortable asking for feedback on work in its early stages to ensure the most suitable solution.
• Proficiency in English and German; required for user tests with German users.
