Stellenbeschreibung
Stellenbezeichnung: Staff/ Lead Product Designer (App)

We are Europe’s leading provider of employee benefits technology. Millions of employers and staff use Epassi’s digital and mobile solutions to seamlessly redeem employee benefits across our unrivalled merchant network.

Epassi – Wellbeing that works!

Are you interested in joining of Europe’s fastest growing companies? Do you want to impact the wellbeing of millions of users? If yes, join us to make an impact in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment where you’ll play a key role in driving financial accountability, supporting strategic decisions, and enabling sustainable growth.

Epassi’s purpose is to boost everyday well‑being. We are a leading provider of employee benefit solutions across Europe. We were established in Finland in 2007, and in 2008 we were the first company to launch a mobile‑payable employee benefit payment solution in Europe. Since then, we have consistently grown, diversifying our products and introducing our services into new markets.

Epassi has been awarded by the Financial Times as one of the fastest‑growing companies in Europe on multiple occasions.

We are now hiring a Senior Product Designer (App). This can be home based — with twice monthly travel to one of our offices in Finland or Germany.

Your mission at Epassi

You will help deliver Epassi’s vision as the Daily Wellbeing Companion by taking end‑to‑end ownership of the super app experience for our end users. This individual contributor role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on work when needed: you will set direction and own standards for the full app experience.

Your Responsibilities Will Be
  • Own the end‑to‑end super app experience from flows and interaction models to UX metrics across all markets.
  • Drive the evolution of design guidelines for the app inside the Epassi design system, setting standards across the full design team.
  • Lead hands‑on concept creation, interaction design, and visual design for complex, modular app structures.
  • Ensure a consistent, scalable user experience across products, regions, and surfaces.
  • Coach other app designers in the company.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and brand marketing.
  • Balance long‑term UX vision with practical delivery and execution.
You’ll be successful in this role if you are able to:
  • Maintain a clear view of the full super app experience and make confident decisions across domains with good communication and collaboration.
  • Take end‑to‑end ownership of design work across the app.
  • Communicate with authority and clarity with designers, developers, senior leadership, and business stakeholders.
  • Define and track UX metrics that connect design quality to measurable business outcomes.
During The First 6–9 Months, You Will
  • Gain sufficient level of understanding of the users of the app and the business context in different Epassi countries.
  • Take ownership of the super app concept and create a plan for scaling and improvements from design perspective.
  • Establish e2e ownership of app flows and refine and implement a framework for tracking UX metrics across the app.
  • Establish a great collaboration model with key stakeholders inside and outside of the design team, including design system, product management, engineering, UX writing, research and brand teams.
  • Work closely with other app designers to align patterns, flows, and standards across the full product.
What You’ll Be Doing (daily)
  • Design leadership:
Setting direction across app designers, owning the app design guidelines, and driving alignment on UX standards and priorities across domains.
  • Hands‑on design work:
Jumping in to design, prototype, or review when needed — keeping high quality and coherence across the product.
  • UX metrics:
Defining and monitoring UX metrics across the super app.
  • Cross‑functional alignment:
Regular collaboration with engineering, UI architecture, senior product leadership, other senior designers, and brand marketing to align design decisions at scale.
  • Team interaction:
Working closely with local colleagues and global teams in an open, low‑hierarchy culture.
What You Should Bring
  • 8‑10+ years of experience designing at‑scale, complex consumer apps.
  • Proven experience owning end‑to‑end product experiences…
