Our client, a global technology services company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their Banking Operations team in Berlin. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your back-office banking experience and German language skills within a structured and professional environment, supporting a major financial institution.
Position OverviewIn this role, you will be a key part of the back-office operations team. You will manage essential banking processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your work will directly contribute to providing a seamless and reliable service for customers by handling complex inquiries and transactions efficiently through written communication channels.
Responsibilities- Manage customer accounts and data with high accuracy.
- Process payment transactions, bookings, and other back-office tasks.
- Resolve complex customer inquiries via email and ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Fraud and KYC departments.
- Ensure all activities comply with German banking regulations.
- Deliver a fair, consistent, and transparent customer experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer support or back-office role.
- Experience with in a financial institution in the German market.
- A completed banking apprenticeship or a comparable qualification.
- Fluent written and spoken German is essential for this role.
- Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills.
- A strong understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
- A 12-month contract providing stability and experience.
- A hybrid working model with a mix of office and home-based work.
- All necessary work equipment, including a laptop and headset, is provided.
- A structured shift pattern, rotating every three weeks.
