As a Senior Controller at Home To Go , you play a key role in supporting the leadership team, the Executive Board, and the Supervisory Board in decision-making for the Home To Go Group. You will be involved in the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for the Home To Go parent company as well as several of our subsidiaries. With these deep insights into the financial development of the Home To Go Group, you can significantly influence and guide the achievement of our goals and support the overall decision-making process.
With your collaborative, supportive approach and analytical mindset, you will work closely with our Group Accounting team on the monthly financial statements and group reporting. Your strong understanding of the business model and the industry is especially valuable to the Investor Relations team, particularly when it comes to presenting our strategy and vision to the capital markets.
How you’ll add value- Lead the monthly reporting and variance analyses
- Establish controlling processes with our subsidiaries and further expand their integration into the Home To Go Group
- Introduce new controlling processes (e.g., cost center reporting) and support the implementation of SAP
- Support the regular preparation of forecasts and provide recommendations for steering the business, including related opportunities and risks
- Contribute to the annual budget creation process and support the preparation of our annual financial statements
- Drive improvements in existing month‑end closing processes
- Bring at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in financial planning and controlling
- Demonstrate proven experience collaborating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and areas of responsibility
- Apply strong analytical skills and confidently report to senior leadership
- Be willing to travel regularly to our subsidiaries within Germany
- Work in a structured, results‑oriented way to simplify complexity
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken;
German skills are a significant plus - Have experience with SAP and Lucanet — a strong plus
