Forward Deployed Engineer; Data Strategy & Modeling ClimateTech

You are the one who enters a complex environment, deciphers the chaotic data landscape, and structures it into a coherentcarbontologythat drives decision-making.

You are the strategic bridge between the client’s C-level vision and our Core Engineering execution.

This role is not about ticket-based coding; it is about Data Modeling, Strategic Scoping, and Value Expansion.

• Ontology & Data Modeling:
  Your primary technical weapon is not an IDE, but our platform’s modeling capabilities. You will map complex real-world concepts (supply chain flows, manufacturing steps) into a digital carbontology, creating the "source of truth" for the client.
• Deep Data Analysis:
  You will dive into client data to extract insights, validate hypotheses, and build dashboards/reports that prove immediate value.
• Strategic Scoping:
  You work directly with the client to define the "Art of the Possible." Once you have scoped the strategic goals and architectural requirements, you collaborate with our Product & Engineering teams to trigger the implementation and feature development.
• Commercial Growth (NRR):
  You work in lockstep with Account Executives. By solving the initial problem, you uncover adjacent use cases. Your technical success directly drives Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and account expansion.
• The Translator:
  You translate business ambiguity into technical logic, and technical constraints into business strategy.

We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background who thrive in high-velocity environments (e.g., top-tier consulting, high-growth startups, or rapid scale‑ups).

• Technical Foundation: A degree in STEM (CS, Engineering, Physics, Math) or Economics with a strong quantitative focus. You understand data structures and logic, even if you aren't writing Java/C++ daily.
• Modeling Mindset:
  You can look at a messy organization and see the underlying system. You excel at abstracting complex processes into logical data models.

• Commercial Fluency:
  You understand that technical solutions must drive business outcomes. You are comfortable discussing ROI with stakeholders and identifying upsell opportunities.

  Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools (Excel, BI tools, or scripting for analysis) is required to validate your models.
• Communication:
  You can command a room of stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly.
