Presales Engineer | DACH Berlin based | Enterprise Segment

We’re supporting a fast-growing tech scale-up in their search for a Sales Engineer dedicated to the DACH region. This is a newly created position designed to accelerate Enterprise sales cycles and strengthen pre-sales expertise within the revenue organisation.

As the Sales Engineer for DACH, you’ll be the technical partner to Enterprise AEs, owning all pre‑sales technical work streams. You'll run discovery, shape solution architectures, guide integration approaches, and help de‑risk complex technical decisions for Enterprise prospects.

This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Solution Engineering, ensuring seamless handovers and strong collaboration.

• Lead technical discovery, qualification, and solution design for Enterprise deals
• Own pre‑sales technical workflows: requirements, scoping, integration planning, security/compliance responses
• Deliver high‑impact demos, technical narratives, and ROI framing
• Manage technical stakeholders (IT, Security, Data, Marketing Ops) on the prospect side
• Enable AEs with product knowledge, demo assets, and reusable playbooks
• Provide structured product feedback based on field insights
• Partner with post‑sale teams for clean, well‑scoped handovers
• 4–6 years of experience in a Sales Engineering / Pre‑Sales role
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, enterprise IT, and security
• Confident in C‑level conversations; able to tie technical solutions to business outcomes
• Organised, autonomous, and comfortable managing multiple complex opportunities
• Berlin preferred, but remote considered for exceptional profiles
