Platform Engineer Cloud & DevOps; m​/w​/d

Join to apply for the Platform Engineer Cloud & Dev Ops (m/w/d) role  ensure that more than 15,000 companies can work with Clockodo daily and continuously develop the cloud platform. You will build a modern, highly available infrastructure together with experienced software architects and your team to enable Clockodo's growth.

• Develop and operate our Azure platform to ensure stable and secure production systems.
• Monitor the cloud environment, analyze performance and cost metrics, and implement optimizations.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines based on Git Hub Actions and automate repetitive processes.
• Work with Infrastructure-as-Code such as Terraform or Bicep and manage Azure resources through declarative processes.
• Advance monitoring, logging, and alerting structures using tools like Sentry and Application Insights.
• Take on core operations tasks such as backups, updates, and security measures for our cloud infrastructure.
• Support developer teams with cloud- and server-related questions.

• Azure (App Services, Managed SQL, Redis, Storage, Azure Functions, Queue Storage)
• Infrastructure as Code:
  Terraform/Open Tofu
• CI/CD:
  Git Hub Actions
• Monitoring & Observability:
  Sentry, Application Insights
• Backend & Services: PHP with Docker, Node.js for selected services
• Frontend:
  React

• Experience with a large cloud platform, ideally Azure
• Practical experience in production operation of cloud-based applications
• Solid knowledge in CI/CD, preferably Git Hub Actions
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Understanding of monitoring, logging and error analysis
• Interest in security and identity topics such as Entra, RBAC or networking
• Basic knowledge of container technologies
