Remote optional (NRW) or hybrid office in Stolberg. Full‑time position.

As a System Engineer in the IT team, you will design, plan, and implement server, network and security solutions for our customers. You will also maintain and evolve IT systems, support deployments, and collaborate closely with support and sales teams.

• Conceive, plan and implement server, network and security solutions for clients.
• Deploy, roll‑out and further develop IT systems and software solutions, including stabilisation during launch phase.
• Administer and configure Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Maintain and evolve networks (L2/L3) including segmentation.
• Create and implement firewall policies and security and network standards.
• Support data imports, interface connections and migrations.
• Troubleshoot within project work and ticket operations.
• Document system landscapes, project status and best practices.
• Closely collaborate with support and sales teams.

What you bring:

• Strong interest or experience in System Engineering, IT administration or networking.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Network knowledge (L2/L3) and basic understanding of IT security, firewalls and segmentation.
• Completed training or university education in IT/networking or comparable practical experience.
• High learning motivation and ability to continuously expand technical knowledge.
• Structured, solution‑oriented, autonomous working style.
• Initiative and hands‑on mentality, willing to take responsibility.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Excellent German written and spoken skills.
