• You take responsibility for the operation and further development of our cloud-based IT infrastructure with a clear focus on stability, security, and user‑friendliness.
• You administer, monitor, and scale our cloud solutions (AWS, AWS European Sovereign Cloud, STACKIT, Azure …), set up new services, maintain existing environments, and ensure smooth operation.
• You support our users and make sure that all systems are secure, performant, and up to date.
• You work closely with our Dev Ops and cloud teams and support the integration of infrastructure components into our overarching operating models.
• You take over monitoring and support of our clients and servers, automate recurring tasks (e.g. via Power Shell, Unix shell), and ensure a scalable, maintainable system landscape.
• You are the first point of contact for technical questions regarding internal IT, support onboarding, conduct training sessions, and document processes in a comprehensible manner.
• You actively support incident, problem, and change management, analyze causes, find pragmatic solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT.
• You ensure compliance with our service level agreements and provide answers to our customers regarding technical and organizational questions, e.g. through regular SLA reporting.

• Solid experience in the administration of cloud infrastructures, especially AWS and Azure.
• Solid experience in the administration of Unix (Debian) and Windows as well as the use of Cloud Formation, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of networks, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring, as well as an understanding of the relationships between performance, security, and scalability.
• Technical know‑how and a hands‑on mentality when dealing with tickets, system setup, or automation of processes.
• A structured, solution‑oriented way of working and a confident demeanor in stressful situations.
• A good sense for people and communication to explain complex IT topics in an understandable way.
• Team spirit, knowledge sharing, and enjoyment in making processes more efficient.
• Practical experience, know‑how, and a willingness to take responsibility count more than formal education.
• Motivation not only to administer, but to actively shape IT landscapes.
• Good German and English skills for internal and external communication.
