Senior Data Analyst; m​/w​/d – Sales & Finance

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets to support strategic business decisions.
• Work closely with Sales & Finance and data teams (Data Engineering, Data Science, Web Analytics) to transform Visable into a truly data‑driven company.
• Design, build and maintain trusted data models using dbt, contributing to a single source of truth.
• Collaborate on data modeling, metric definitions and data quality initiatives to ensure reliable and scalable reporting.
• Replace manual reporting processes with automated, cloud‑based data solutions and reusable analytics assets.
• Develop scalable dashboards, self‑service reporting solutions and KPI frameworks using Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Proactively identify opportunities, generate actionable business insights and communicate recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
• Act as a trusted analytics partner, supporting business teams with data‑driven decision making and enabling power users through documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate and leverage AI‑powered analytics capabilities, including LLM‑based tools and modern analytics workflows.

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field.
• Several years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within Sales, Finance or Commercial Analytics.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large‑scale analytical databases and dimensional models (Star/Snowflake).
• Hands‑on experience with dbt for data transformation, testing, documentation and version‑controlled analytics development.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms (Big Query, Snowflake, Redshift or Databricks) is highly desirable.
• Experience using Tableau or similar BI and visualization tools.
• Good understanding of data modeling, data quality and analytics engineering best practices.
• Experience working with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Python or R experience for analysis and automation is a plus.
• Interest in AI‑powered analytics, LLM applications or AI‑enabled data products.
• Strong analytical thinking, curiosity and ability to translate business questions into scalable analytical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex analytical concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative and solution‑oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Business fluency in English is required.
