Twinlake Advisory is a specialized consultancy for IT-driven M&A and transformation projects. We support large corporations, mid-sized companies, and private equity investors in carve-outs, post-merger integrations, and strategic realignments. In these critical phases, IT becomes a key success factor—and this is exactly where we come in: we combine in-depth analysis with pragmatic execution.

Your role

As a Principal, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic development of Twinlake and take entrepreneurial responsibility for business-critical IT M&A and transformation engagements—from go-to-market and account strategy to thought leadership and successful client delivery.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

  • Overall strategic responsibility for complex IT M&A, carve-out, integration, and transformation programs, as well as key program areas for our most important clients
  • Leadership of IT due diligence, carve-out, and post-merger integration initiatives from both a strategic and subject-matter perspective
  • Independent management and development of large client accounts with full commercial responsibility, including account planning, P&L management, expansion of existing engagements, and identification of new business opportunities
  • Active development and strategic advancement of business areas, service offerings, and market positioning—from sharpening our value proposition to translating it into sales and delivery opportunities

A core part of your role is the entrepreneurial management of client relationships, projects, and internal growth areas. You will lead complex programs, shape strategic decisions, and further develop Twinlake both professionally and commercially, including:

  • Establishing and managing robust program, account, and delivery governance, including budgets, resources, commercial targets, and quality assurance
  • Preparing, moderating, and leading steering committees, C-level meetings, decision forums, pitches, and strategic workshops
  • Actively managing project portfolios, risks, dependencies, escalations, and financial frameworks while driving sustainable decision-making
  • Building, maintaining, and expanding long-term relationships with executives, investors, C-level stakeholders, and strategic partners

You will lead experienced project teams, actively share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute your expertise to advance Twinlake, our client relationships, and our consulting approaches.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking colleagues for our Munich office who operate at the highest consulting level, develop client relationships entrepreneurially, lead complex programs strategically, and contribute as thought leaders to Twinlake.

Typically, you bring:

  • Extensive consulting experience at a senior level, ideally with 15+ years in IT M&A, IT transformation, program management, project leadership, and client development
  • Proven track record in leading complex projects, programs, or portfolios and managing interdisciplinary, senior teams
  • Deep expertise in IT transformation, digitalization, corporate development, and/or M&A, particularly in IT due diligence, carve-outs, or post-merger integrations
