As a Data Analyst (gn), you will join our Business Insights Team within the Digital Department and play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across The Quality Group.

In this role, you'll work across the entire analytics lifecycle—from understanding business challenges and transforming raw data into business-ready datasets to building dashboards, delivering actionable insights, and driving data-informed decisions.

Your

mission
  • You partner with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges and translate them into scalable analytical solutions
  • You build and maintain reliable, scalable datasets and reporting tables using SQL and modern transformation tools such as dbt
  • You design, develop, and optimize dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization
  • You perform analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable business insights
  • You define, implement, and continuously improve KPIs, metrics, and reporting standards
  • You ensure high data quality through testing, validation, and structured analytical workflows
  • You contribute to the continuous improvement of our analytics ecosystem by enhancing documentation, standards, reusable assets, and best practices
  • You take ownership of specific focus areas within the team and actively strengthen our overall analytics capabilities
Your experience & skills
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or a comparable role
  • You have strong SQL skills and enjoy working with data on a daily basis
  • You have hands‑on experience with modern data transformation tools such as dbt
  • You have experience building dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
  • You understand data warehouse concepts and enjoy translating business questions into scalable analytical solutions
  • You communicate confidently with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • You work independently, take ownership, and approach challenges with a structured and solution-oriented mindset
  • You are fluent in English;
    German language skills are a plus
  • You are based in or willing to relocate to the Hamburg area and enjoy collaborating with your team on‑site on a regular basis
