You Train builds a military XR training platform for armed forces, law enforcement, and emergency responders. As QA Release Manager you own quality and releases across our entire product portfolio – XR applications on different headsets, platform services, and customer deployments. You build the QA strategy and release processes, establish test automation where it has impact, and ensure every delivery meets the high standards of our military customers.
What You'll Do- Build and own the QA strategy, testing standards, and release processes across all products.
- Define and maintain the test and device matrix for XR headsets, companion hardware, and platform components.
- Establish test automation (unit, integration, smoke tests) together with engineering and integrate it into CI/CD.
- Plan and run manual test sessions for XR interactions, multiplayer, and hardware integration.
- Coordinate release planning, versioning, release notes, and go/no-go decisions.
- Drive bug triage, quality metrics, and continuous improvement of the development process.
- 5+ years of software QA experience, including at least 2 years with release responsibility.
- Experience testing 3D/game/XR applications or comparably complex interactive systems.
- Hands-on experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Structured, documentation-strong way of working and uncompromising quality standards.
- Strong communication skills towards engineering, product, and customers.
- Experience with Unity test frameworks or device automation for headsets.
- Experience with releases in regulated or safety-critical environments.
- ISTQB certification or comparable qualification.
