IT Security Consultant; m​/f​/d Design IT security sense and understanding

For our partner company in the IT and social services sector, we are seeking an IT Security Specialist (m/f/d) in Nieder-Weisel for direct placement (permanent position with our client).

Independent action and management of security incidents, as well as coordination and implementation of appropriate technical measures.

Development of technical concepts, selection of external service providers for the implementation of a SOC, and management of the scoping process.

Assumption of specialist and project responsibility, interface communication, task coordination, and representation of technical decisions.

Support, error analysis, and administration of central security platforms (especially EDR, SIEM, and Entra ).

Active contribution of new ideas for the continuous development of the IT security landscape, as well as technical management of external partners.

• Completed IT training, studies in the IT or security field or a comparable qualification with sound practical professional experience (e.g. 2 to 5 years)
• Proven experience in the operational handling of security incidents and in the support of common security platforms (EDR, SIEM, Entra )
• Experience in IT project management, the design of security solutions, or service provider management (e.g., SOC scoping)
• Strong communication skills, proactive approach, high level of independence, and a willingness to actively address and implement potential improvements.
• Willingness to be regularly present at the Nieder-Weisel location (supplemented by flexible remote work options depending on the task)
• Excellent German skills, both written and spoken;
  English skills are an advantage.
