Product analyst in classifieds

Kleinanzeigen is Germany's leading online classifieds marketplace, where users mainly buy and sell second-hand goods across numerous categories. It also enables small and medium-sized businesses to present their services online.

• Own product analytics for the Real Estate and Motors squads, including tracking definition, funnel analysis, KPI monitoring, and performance reporting across seeker experience, seeker monetization, seller experience, and Motors product initiatives
• Define end-to-end event tracking specifications, coordinate implementation with PM, SWE, and DE, verify tracking in production, and build automated checks that scale beyond manual QA
• Lead A/B experiments from hypothesis through readout, apply advanced methods where appropriate, and build self-service tools and templates for standard experiments
• Contribute to the semantic layer and data model so stakeholders can query Real Estate and Motors data themselves and routine analyst bottlenecks are reduced
• Integrate AI tools into analytical workflows and help stakeholders do the same, automating where useful and applying expert judgment where needed
• Support forecasting, planning, and operational analytics across the Real Estate and Motors domain
• Own and prioritize the backlog transparently, push back on low-value requests, and make trade-offs visible to stakeholders

• Strong SQL skills and hands-on product analytics experience, including tracking ownership, experimentation, and performance KPI analysis
• Practical experience using AI tools in analytical workflows and a track record of using AI tooling to complete valuable and tedious tasks
• Experience defining tracking specifications, coordinating implementation across PM, SWE, and DE, and verifying them in production
• Experience independently designing and evaluating A/B tests; understanding of statistical power, guardrail metrics, and when not to trust a result
• Ownership mindset, strong prioritization, and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable building data products for self-service, including semantic layers, metric definitions, and reusable templates
