Portfolio Area Manager (f/m/d) for Nuclear New Build

At Siemens Energy, we are looking for a Portfolio Area Manager in our Strategic Program Management Organization for Nuclear New Build. You will drive growth and coordination for global projects focused on Conventional/Turbine Island for SMRs and LSRs in 50

Hz and 60

Hz environments. You will oversee activities for a specific product line, ensuring alignment with customer timelines and collaborating with cross‑functional teams across Business Development, R&D, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality.

• Assess bid/execution readiness and synchronize activities with project timelines.
• Support portfolio prioritization through business cases and optimized scope outlines.
• Monitor scope and implement processes tailored to nuclear business needs.
• Define planning inputs and allocate resources effectively.
• Contribute to risk management and procurement initiatives, including local content requirements.
• Provide guidance for bidding and project management, applying lessons learned.

• Degree in Engineering, Business/Project Management, Nuclear Sciences, or related field.
• Extensive experience in machinery/plant engineering, project management, R&D, or bid management.
• Strong understanding of technical and project standards in the nuclear industry.
• Ability to structure complex tasks and drive completion with target orientation.
• Proven leadership in cross‑functional, multinational environments.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
