Technical Sales Specialist; mft

As a Technical Specialist - Severe Service you will provide product and application technical support to the regional sales engineers driving growth for the Flow Control Division (FCD) severe service product portfolio including :

• Argus ball valves metal seated floating & trunnion ball valves.
• Valtek severe service control valves
• Durco severe service plug valves and high-performance butterfly valves
• Other Flowserve valve products as required.

• Foster strong customer relationships through close collaboration with sales teams to Identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop account strategies for key customers and provide market intelligence on technical and commercial aspects of FCD product portfolio.
• Serve as a subject matter point of reference to the Sales teams for product selection and associated process applications.
• Coordinate with engineering resources and collaborate on engineered-to-order (ETO) design solutions.
• Contribute to product diversification strategies by aligning global product leadership with customer needs.
• Support new product introductions and drive product and application awareness.
• Assist in the resolution of commercial and technical issues to exceed customer expectations.
• Assist in the development of targeted account plans
• Update account plans and opportunities in the CRM system (Flow Force).
• Identify and escalation potential issues that may impact customer relationships or business opportunities.

BS or BA in Engineering or Business Administration with 810 years of relevant experience.

Broad knowledge and technical expertise in the refinery petrochemical industry severe service applications

Technical product knowledge of isolation valves and flow control valves.

Dynamic and creative initiative-taker with strong organization planning collaboration analytical problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.

Demonstrates customer centricity through interpersonal communication.

Ability to work effectively across all organizational levels and business groups.

Broad knowledge of industry standards related to the Flowserve product portfolio.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel PowerPoint).

The role requires min. 50% of traveling. The rest of working time can be done working from home.
